Makeovers are my favorite thing to do. I love that I get to be with women and teach them how to reuse and update their makeup. What I have found is most of these women have a ton of makeup, but do not know how to use it. So today I would like to go over a few "rules" that will help each of you when you want to start a makeover for your eyes.
If you are using grocery store makeup here a few things to keep in mind.
Looking for a matte eyeshadow? You will never find it at the grocery store. All grocery store make up have a shimmer or glitter to it, they may have one or two matte shadows in a palate to lure you to buy it. If you don't care about the shimmer, you should. Grocery store shimmer eyeshadow will sit on top of your eye and that will cause your shadow to crease. If you spend a bit more money and get some really high quality eyeshadow, like Two Faced, Naked 1, Naked 2 by Urban Decay,( just to name a few. These eyeshadows are creamy and will "melt" into your eye and the shimmer shadow will blend well with other eyeshadows and it will not let your eyes look like a disco ball! If you are going to spend money, spend it on good eyeshadow, you will not be sorry.
